Hans Anderson
1842-1918

Funeral services for Hans Anderson who died at Rochester, Friday, March 8th 1918, were conducted Monday afternoon from the Congregational, church of St. Charles, Rev. T. A. Hawkes officiating and interment was made in Hillside Cemetery beside his wife, who predeceased him several years ago.

Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden on October 21, 1842. He came to America in 1872 and was married December 29th, 1875 to Mrs. Eva Lassen Johnson. They lived on a farm near St. Charles until 1914, when they resided in St. Charles until the death of Mrs. Anderson in April 1904, since which time Mr. Anderson has made his home for the greater part in Minneapolis. Three children were born to Mr. And Mrs. Anderson, Fred Oscar of St. Charles, Anna, Mrs. M. Ganey deceased and Marie, Mrs. Geo. Suffern of Minneapolis. There are eight grandchildren and one great grandchild and also two stepsons Louis and Elia Johnson of Huron, S.D.
