Died last night - Mrs. Lydia A. Ellison, died at her home on North Main Street last night at 11:30 o'clock from pneumonia. The deceased had been sick but a short time. Mrs. Ellison was born in Augusta Maine Feb. 23, 1828.
In 1856 she came to Minnesota and seven years later she was united in marriage to Mr. B.H. Ellison. Her husband died five years later. The deceased is survived by the following children: Mr. E.S. Tobey, Vinton; Mrs. Frank Steele, Pennsylvania; Mr. Charles Ellison, city; Mr. E.M. Ellison, Chicago. Mrs. Ellison was a woman of fine Christian character and her death will be mourned by many. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from her late home on North Main Street. Rev. F. P. Leach will officiate.
